Teach_Abroad_2012

PROGRAM DETAILS:

FEBA is proud to announce a new work opportunity opening up for college graduates participating in our summer 2012 programming. For those parties who successfully complete their teaching assignment period(s), an opportunity will open to teach longer-term, for one or two years at a time, as official, salaried teaching staff. Along with a highly competitive compensation package, you'll get the opportunity to experience life in one of the world's greatest crossroads, a historic country with a scintillating future, dynamic and vibrant and waiting to accept qualified candidates such as yourself to a wonderful position teaching tomorrow's leaders.

FEBA has partnered with a number of schools in Turkey to provide qualified English teachers for one- and two-year teaching assignments. Upon successful completion of TWO CONSECUTIVE PERIODS (periods II and III) OF TEACH & TRAVEL during our annual summer programming, interested parties will become eligible to apply for this long-term teaching position. This is because we would only accept those individuals who have had the chance to familiarize themselves with Turkey, the types of students they'd encounter, and the quality and structure of the schools. Likewise, successful completion of two periods of Teach & Travel would offer FEBA and the prospective host schools enough time to familiarize themselves with the candidates, and to be sure that a "good fit" for placement is possible.

Placement would be at any one of a number of prestigious schools located around the country. The position is extendable beyond the initial term for those interested in continuing to teach long-term. Compensation would be between $2,000 - $3,500/month, and also includes free housing, lunch during school days, and one round-trip ticket to the United States each year.
